I visited your shop during a conference last week. I enjoyed it very much. The people were friendly and the yarn is beautiful. I wish you were closer so I could come more often.

I can’t seem to find your days/hours on the website. Please send.
Also – will you be open at all on Mondays during, prior to, or after the fair?
I’m in Emporia and don’t make it to Hurchinson very often, and would like to visit you at the same time I either drop off or pick up my fair entries.
Final Q: What’s the “State Fair Invitational” on the website? Seems to require a password.

tracey,
thanks for pointing out that total lack of info on the site….sometimes it takes a fresh pair of eyes. i’ve update the page to include our extended hours for the state fair as well. the state fair invitational is a contest we’ve extended to all the local yarn stores in ks. if you are interested in competing ask your local store if they are participating. if you don’t have a local store give us a shout and will put you in with us! cheers…..shannon @ yarn

I meant Hutchinson, of course, not Hurchinson…
Fat fingers today!

I have my bag almost finished and am driving it out (along with entries from two friends) tomorrow. We’ll stop in the store after we get our entries in. Thanks so much for posting the knitting pattern for the bag contest. I went with entrelac for the body of my bag. I can’t wait to see everybody’s entries. What a fun fun contest! I wish I could make it to the kint-in on the 14th. I bet ya’ll are going to have a great time!!!

Was in your shop on Wednesday and bought some lovely yarn and met some lovely ladies. I wish I lived closer so I could be a regular. Thanks to Andrea for helping me with my mittens and to the knitters for inviting me to sit and knit with them. Please tell Miss Patty the Dinner plate beret pattern is available on the Knitting Weekly news letter. I finished mine and it turned out very nicely. Hope to see you again soon.
